Elisabeth Sladen dies after a long battle with cancer. I had no idea she was sick, and it sounds like very few people did. It's all just so unexpected.

I had really, REALLY enjoyed the Sarah Jane Adventures these past few years. It was the brightest spot in the Whoniverse for me, in many ways. She was such a positive role model for little girls and I'm very sorry to see the last of it.

This just sucks :(

Y'know, Callum Blue never quite did it for me when he was on Dead Like Me or The Tudors, but hot damn was he pretty in this. It can't even be the period clothes, considering his Tudors role, so maybe it was the concerned father/hero thing.

I haven't been posting on it much, but SJA continues to be awesome. Ten showed up last week and it was fab. Sarah Jane has the best companions, too. Clyde and Rani are ace, though I still miss Maria. It'd be nice to see her and Rani together.

In the midst of all the election tension, The Sarah Jane Adventures was the happiest thing today that managed to distract me.
